Alabama and Georgia Information
Welcome to the Alabama/Georgia U.S. United Pageant! This is a Pageant with a Purpose. A portion of the proceeds from the pageant will be donated to breast cancer awareness through the Susan G. Komen and Sisters by Choice organizations. We will be honoring females, ages 10 and older for their personal, professional, and community achievements. Our pageant will showcase each contestant on her own merits and personality. We focus on the individual inner beauty of each contestant, as well as her individual achievements, community involvement and personal strengths and talents. We do not believe in comparison judging. The 2021 Alabama/Georgia U.S. United Pageant will take place Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a one-day pageant open to females who live, work, have property in or go to school in Alabama or Georgia. Winners from this pageant will advance to the U.S. United national pageant which will be held in July 15-18, 2021 in Atlanta. Please read the following information in its entirety. The pageant's entry deadline is December 1, 2020. This is when all applications and paperwork must be turned into the Pageant Office. If you know someone that would like to compete, please urge them to go ahead and submit their application. ALL FEES MUST BE paid in full by January 10, 2021.
Your Pageant fee is as follows:
$25.00 (non-refundable) Registration fee
$150.00(non-refundable pageant fee)
Total fee is $175.
You may pay your fees through PayPal. The PayPal address is legacypageantsus@gmail,com
You will have the option of personally paying your pageant fee OR asking family and friends to place an ad in our program book. This is a unique avenue we offer contestants in paying their fees. A portion of the will be donated to Breast Cancer Research and Awareness, which is the national platform of the U.S. United Pageant System.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS!
Each young lady or woman who is interested in competing in the pageant simply needs to ask family, friends, and businesses to support them by placing an ad in our program book.
Prizes will be awarded to the contestants who reaches at least $500 in ad sales.

Full page ad - $75
Half page ad - $40
¼ page ad - $20
ALL ADS ARE DUE BY JANUARY 15, 2021
ADS MUST BE CAMERA READY AND SUBMITTED IN EITHER JPEG FORMAT OR AS A PDF FILE.THE PAGEANT WILL CREATE YOUR AD FOR AN ADDITIONAL $25 FEE.
ALL ADS WILL BE IN FULL COLOR.
A portion of the Proceeds will be donated to those suffering with breast cancer through the Susan G Komen for the Cure and/or Sisters by Choice.
Each division winner will sign a Queen’s Contract. This contract spells out in detail what is expected of you as a queen. All winners ages 10 and older are required to compete in the national pageant July 15-18, 2021 in Atlanta. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN RELINGUISHMENT OF STATE TITLE. STATE SASH, CROWN, AND TROPHY MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION IT WAS PRESENTED. A $350 FINE WILL ALSO INCUR AND MUST BE PAID TO THE NATIONAL OFFICE.
Competition Wardrobe and Judging Guidelines
Blue Jeans and White Blouse, clear or silver shoes and silver jewelry
Personal Interview – 40%
Contestants should wear a business suit or business dress. You should look as though you are going to a job interview or making an appearance. Please be mindful of the length of your skirt. You be will judged on your oral communication skills, confidence, poise, charisma, projection of personality and sincerity of your answers.
Outfit of Choice – 30%
This is an outfit of choice that best reflects your personality. Should you choose to wear a hat, PLEASE be sure your full face is visible to the judges at all times. You will be judged on poise, personality, charisma, overall presentation, and confidence. Have fun, let your personality shine! This outfit SHOULD NOT be an evening gown; however, you may wear a dress with a high/low hemline.
Evening Gown – 30%
Contestants should wear a floor length gown. The price of the gown is not important. You will be judged on poise, grace/elegance, overall presentation, eye contact, and confidence while on stage. Be sure your gown fits you well and is not too tight, too long or too short. Make sure it compliments your figure and is age appropriate.
Other Clothing Needed
Comfortable clothes for rehearsal.
All outfits and shoes should be age appropriate
Scores from optional competitions have no bearing on the division winner. Contestants are not required to enter the optional competitions
Optional Competition Fees are due by January 15, 2021
Talent Competition (optional $20.00 fee)
The Talent Competition is an optional competition and does not affect the overall outcome of the pageant. You will need to have your Talent Entry form & Entry Fee to the Office by January 15, 2020. We need this information ahead of time because these names need to be added to the computer score sheet. Talent must not be longer than 3 minutes.
Music must be texted or emailed to the national office
Photogenic Competition (optional $20.00 fee)
Contestants in this competition should submit no more than 2 photographs. You should bring them with you and turn in at registration. Please be sure you pick them up before the pageant. Photos will not be mailed. Photographs should be at least a 4 X 6 and no larger than an 8 X 10 and may be either in color or black and white. Photos should be professional and not a snapshot. Photos CANNOT be older than three years.
Community Service Scrapbook (optional $20.00 fee)
You should bring your scrapbook with you. Please be sure to pick this up after the pageant. Your scrapbook should showcase your activities in your community and should be arranged by the most recent activities first.
People’s Choice (no fee)
People’s Choice will be conducted online and at the pageant. The winner is chosen based on the contestant that collects the most donations, and the donations collected in the People Choice boxes the day of the pageant.
The People’s Choice winner will receive a trophy, sash, and tiara.
Contestants who enter this competition will present a modeling portfolio of 5-10 photographs.
Young Woman/Woman of Style ($20.00 fee)
Winner is based on scores from Fun Fashion and Evening Gown.
U.S. United Scholar (no fee)
Contestant who enter this competition will submit an official school transcript and a short essay on why she feels she should receive this award.
Cover Girl ($20.00 fee)
Contestant who enter this competition will submit up to 2 photos to be judged. Winner will have her photo printed on the program book cover.

IT’S IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW YOUR BUDGET. WINNING A STATE TITLE AND SAYING YOU DON’T HAVE THE MONEY TO COMPETE AT NATIONALS IS NOT AN OPTION.
